Midjourney has released version 5.1 of its AI text-to-image generator.

The latest model is more "opinionated" and offers enhanced image quality, sharpness, and accuracy over prior systems, according to the company.

Midjourney 5.1 can generate more natural-looking pictures than version 5, making it harder to distinguish between real and fake images.

v5.1 also offers a new "raw" mode for unopinionated image generations in the V5.0 default style.
According to the company, v5.1 generates fewer text artifacts in its outputs than the prior version.
The company plans to make it the default version as early as this week.
