Tesla releases updated park assist feature

Tesla has  released  an updated version of the vision-based park assist feature.  The automaker famously decided to rely on AI for all self-driving capabilities. In 2022, Tesla announced that it would stop using ultrasonic sensors for object tracking and that it would solely rely on artificial intelligence in order to build a self-driving vehicle. The decision was heavily criticized by some industry experts, claiming that it would risk lives and fail to help Tesla achieve advanced autonomy capabilities for its vehicles. This update comes as Tesla owners have gone six months without sensors or the AI-powered feature that would help them with parking. Many Tesla owners have posted videos of their experience with the update, with some of them saying that this feature needs improvement.a
